Dear Readers:

Maximus’ frustration level is at an all time high.  Our Government continues to take actions that enrich the few, while more and more honest, hardworking people are suffering.

History shows this has always been the case, beginning even before Ancient Rome (although the similarities between the downfall of the Roman Empire and the US current situation are striking and worthy of study).

History also shows it will take great effort and sacrifice to see any meaningful change that will end the political and economic corruption.   If that effort is not supported by the public, change could take longer and be far more costly than anyone could possibly expect.

I want to help people protect themselves in these difficult times, because while the media hypes the “improvements” in our economy, the far more significant risks are rarely discussed.  I thought sharing the most powerful blog posts of the week would be a good way to offer my help.

I do not seek to make money off this blog, I do not accept ads or permanent links, and I am not looking for any other benefit other than truly seeing people gain knowledge that can help their future.

I am trying to be what I cannot find elsewhere — a truly objective source of knowledge and information.

Reader feedback and my blog stats are telling me that this format is not doing enough.  Therefore, while I remain open to your emails with “best” and “worst” blog posts, I am going to try to reformat this blog to have a greater impact.

Your feedback is welcome and I hope the work I have done has been helpful to my readers so far and greatly appreciate your reading my blog.
